I still have 8 guineas, for now! I couldn't get one to go in the coop tonight and its roosting in a tree. Hopefully it will be okay til tomorrow.
I tell you these things are going to make me get gray hair! I have been so stressed the last few days, trying to keep my babies happy. Then today when we got home from our family reunion we found a dead chicken in the chicken run. I have no idea what happened to her, but I'm really sad. She didn't look like anything had gotten a hold of her. Maybe it was just old age. She was our favorite one and will be missed....R.I.P. Big White Hen (we never got around to naming her).

I am so sorry for all your troubles with your pets. It's really hard to lose one especially your favorite ones. Then you have some of those crazy ones that will live forever.
Love,
Mom
ank you for stopping by! Guineas are sure ugly, but I will tell you that when you have a momma and babies it is so sweet. I signed up to be a follower.
Sorry about the baby. That is not fun. The momma guinea stepped on one of hers. Sad.
Well thanks again for stopping by. Did you sign up for the giveaway? Hope so........
Blessings, Linda Prairie Flower
Sorry about your guinea and chicken. I am always sad when I loose one too! I try not to get too attached, but they're like family. I started out with 12 guineas about a year and a half ago and now I'm down to 2. I think it was coyotes that got most of my guineas. I intend to get more, they are so good for keeping the ticks away.
